Up for your consideration is an original 1916 Nashville Banner Red Sox Champions newspaper. This newspaper is headlined "Boston Red Sox Again World Champions" dated October 13th, 1916. The page has a pennant present on the bottom of the page that displays Babe Ruth and teammates. This is an extremely rare piece of Red Sox and baseball history. Along the edges and corners there is wear present. The pennant graphic showing a young Babe Ruth looks excellent. The page is on a cardboard backing with plastic over the page (some pieces of plastic have come away along edges). The plastic has not been removed due to the age of the paper but it does not appear to be glued to the cardboard.
